USD/CAD Diperkirakan Turun ke 1,22 pada Kuartal Kedua 2022 – Barclays

USD/CAD telah menyentuh 1,2800 untuk pertama kalinya sejak akhir September. Pasangan mata uang ini saat ini merayap lebih rendah menuju pertengahan 1,27 dan ekonom di Barclays memperkirakan tren ini akan berlanjut karena Bank of Canada (BoC) akan melampaui Federal Reserve dalam menaikkan suku bunga.

Sikap relatif hawkish BoC menjadi pertanda baik bagi CAD

"Kami memperkirakan BoC akan mempertahankan sikap hawkish dan menaikkan suku bunga lebih banyak sesuai dengan perkiraan pasar, tidak seperti The Fed. Kami memperkirakan BoC akan menaikkan suku bunga tiga kali tahun depan mulai kuartal kedua 2022 sedangkan kami memperkirakan The Fed akan relatif lebih sabar dan memperkirakan tidak ada kenaikan suku bunga pada tahun 2022.”
