Inggris: Survei Perdagangan Distributif CBI - Lompatan Terealisasi ke 4% Di Bulan Juli vs. -25% Yang Diharapkan

Penjualan ritel di Inggris meluas dengan kecepatan moderat dibandingkan pada Juli setelah berkontraksi tajam pada bulan Juni dengan Survei Perdagangan Distributif CBI – Realisasi melonjak menjadi 4% dari -37%. Angka ini mengalahkan ekspektasi pasar -25% dengan selisih yang lebar.

Mengomentari data, “senang melihat penjualan ritel stabil bulan ini, tetapi ini tidak menceritakan keseluruhan cerita," kata Rain Newton-Smith, Kepala Ekonom CBI. "Krisis ini telah menciptakan pemenang dan pecundang dalam sektor ritel dan untuk beberapa bisnis gambarnya masih suram. Pembukaan kembali ritel non-esensial adalah langkah vital menuju pemulihan tetapi bukan obat untuk semua."
