EUR/USD holds near daily lows

FXStreet (Córdoba) - The EUR/USD bottomed on European hours at 1.3532 and then rebounded but the recovery was capped around 1.3555/60. Currently the pair trades at 1.3538, down 0.40% for the day so far, holding steady near daily lows.

The Euro is falling for the third day in a row gains the US dollar. After soaring following Draghi’s press conference last Thursday, the EUR/USD lost momentum and has erased all gains.

The EUR/USD is headed toward the lowest daily close since February 5, retreating further from levels near 1.40, that were reached a month ago.

GBP/JPY breaking ascending support

GBP/JPY is trading at 171.44, down -0.48% on the day, having posted a daily high at 172.36 and low at 171.35.
