Wall Street retreats, Europe mixed

FXStreet (Córdoba) - US stocks are falling moderately on Tuesday, pulling back from record highs. European markets finished with gains.

The FTSE 100 lost 0.01% while the Dax gained 0.20% and the Cac 40 finished with a 0.13% gain. In Wall Street the Dow Jones is falling 21 point or 0.12% while the S&P 500 losses 4 point to 1,947.

Gold is rising and climbed to $1,263 and pulled back afterwards to $1,259. Crude oil is falling slightly, losing 0.29%. The US dollar is consolidating gains against European currencies but is losing ground versus commodity currencies.

NZD/USD awaiting RBNZ on 0.85 handle

NZD/USD is trading at 0.8510, up 0.21% on the day, having posted a daily high at 0.8528 and low at 0.8491.
