US Pres. Trump: US-China trade talks are going well

Following his earlier tweets that suggested progress in the US-China trade negotiation was unlikely, US President Donald Trump crossed the wires just minutes before the Wall Street bell rings and said that trade talks were going well. "There will be a great deal with China or none at all," Trump repeated.

Commenting on the Federal Reserve's monetary policy, Trump said that he wanted to see the Fed make a large rate cut and added that he'd like to see quantitative tightening stop. "The Fed moved far too early and far too severely," Trump argued.
