"Aktivitas di sektor manufaktur China menyusut untuk bulan kedua berturut-turut di Januari mengarah ke ketegangan lebih lanjut pada ekonomi yang dapat meningkatkan risiko pertumbuhan global.

Kecemasan seputar pendinginan permintaan di China beriak melalui pasar keuangan dunia dan membebani ekonomi Asia lainnya setelah serangkaian peringatan penjualan dari produsen alat berat Caterpillar sampai pembuat iPhone Apple.

Bahkan dengan peningkatan upaya pemerintah untuk memacu aktivitas, berkembang kekhawatiran bahwa China mungkin berisiko mengalami pelambatan yang lebih tajam dari perkiraan jika perang dagang dengan Amerika Serikat terus berlanjut.
