Yield 10-thn Jepang Di Tertinggi 1,5-Tahun

Yield pada obligasi pemerintah Jepang/Japanese government bond (JGB) 10-tahun melonjak ke 0,145 persen - level tertinggi sejak Februari 2017 hari ini sebelumnya dan terakhir terlihat diperdagangkan di 0,127 persen.

Yield benchmark menembus kisaran perdagangan 1,5-tahun 0,02 persen - 0,10 persen setelah Bank of Japan (BoJ) mengumumkan pada hari Selasa bahwa bank sentral akan mengizinkan yield untuk bergerak lebih bebas. Keputusan itu diharapkan untuk membuat kebijakan moneter ultra-longgar lebih berkelanjutan untuk jangka panjang.

Lebih jauh, keputusan tersebut akan membantu insinyur BoJ membuat kurva yang lebih curam, sesuatu yang akan menjadi pertanda baik bagi bank-bank regional yang bermasalah.

Adapun untuk hari ini, kenaikan dalam yield membantu JPY menguat terhadap mata uang utama lainnya.
