EIA forecasts 2018 US crude oil production to rise by 1.44 million bpd

The U.S. Energy Information Administration has recently published its short-term energy outlook with key quotes, via Reuters, found below.

  • EIA forecasts 2018 U.S. oil demand growth to rise by 470,000 bpd (cut vs 530,000 bpd previously).
  • EIA forecasts U.S. Oil demand growth to rise by 330,000 bpd in 2019 (vs 260,000 bpd previously).
  • EIA forecasts 2018 U.S. Crude oil production to rise by 1.44 million bpd (unchanged from previous forecast in June).
  • EIA forecasts U.S. Crude oil production to rise by 1.01 million bpd in 2019 to 11.80 (decreased vs 970,000 bpd previously).
