EUR menjadi salah satu yang berkinerja sedang dalam konteks lemahnya USD secara luas – Scotiabank

Euro (EUR) memasuki sesi NA hari Rabu dengan kenaikan yang layak sebesar 0,5%, berkinerja lumayan di antara G10 dalam konteks Dolar AS (USD) yang umumnya lebih lemah, catat Kepala Ahli Strategi Valas Scotiabank, Shaun Osborne.

Pasar mengabaikan komentar dovish ECB

"Perkembangan fundamental terbatas dan tidak ada rilis data tingkat tinggi, sehingga fokus sepenuhnya tertuju pada laporan media yang memperkuat pandangan tentang pemerintahan AS yang berfokus pada mata uang dan preferensinya untuk USD yang lebih lemah."

"Pasar tampaknya mengabaikan dovishness yang terus berlanjut dari para pengambil kebijakan di ECB, termasuk komentar anggota GC Villeroy pada hari Selasa yang condong ke arah penurunan suku bunga lebih lanjut musim panas ini."

"Pemantulan tajam EUR/USD dari support di sekitar MA 50 harinya (1,1095) tampaknya telah mengukuhkan titik terendah jangka pendek, memberikan kisaran yang lebih luas yang kira-kira terikat antara support di area pertengahan/atas 1,10 dan resistance di atas 1,15.
